![]() All in all, this is a great size with a long battery run time. All this, and the footprint isn't overwhelming either. You should also be able to run more than one PC easily on this system. It gives you enough time to finish what you are doing on your PC. I think a 1000VA system is a good size to get for most systems. Both worked without a hitch on switch to battery. I also have an AOC display and Netgear router on the backup supply. My small ZOTAC Zbox PC and large home-brew discreet component system (high power PC with standard 450W ATX power supply) worked fine under battery power. Not even a "you probably don't need to bother" notice. If I have any criticism at all of the product, it would be that those configuration values are not properly explained. For 99% of us, these special configuration values are not necessary - the default is fine. Other features which I don't use include: a USB port you can hook up to software, phone line surge protection, and special configuration values of low and high range power factors you can expect from your utility. This screen, which is normally off, lights up when going to battery automatically, although you can choose to display other items such as percent of allowed load or percent of battery charging. My favorite feature is the "minutes remaining" display on the LCD when in battery mode. With 12 outlets (6 battery backup and 6 for surge only) and a nice status LCD screen, this backup gets the job done while letting you know what is happening.
